CiviCRM Developer
Skvare, a team of website and CiviCRM experts specializing in building online presences for nonprofits, membership organizations, professional associations, and educational institutions, is looking for an additional experienced CiviCRM developer to help customize, configure, and maintain our clients' systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Produces efficient, secure, performant solutions in CiviCRM and other software platforms as required, using both configuration and code.
- Develop solutions according to Skvare and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers to understand client needs, design solutions, and estimate time required for client tasks
- Partner with project managers for client requests
- Testing and deploying solutions
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing client systems
- Recommend improvements to existing software systems, in accordance with best practices and client needs.
- Develop technical documentation
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Established experience with CiviCRM
- Fluent with HTML and CSS
- Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery or React
- Comfortable working with debugging tools
- Ability to understand and write CSS to have consistent style across platforms / browsers with responsive designs
- Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with CiviCRM extensions
- Experience creating custom CiviCRM extensions and integrations
- Comfortable using Git for version control and code deployment
- Experience with Drupal is preferred, but not required
