Skvare, a team of website and CiviCRM experts specializing in building online presences for nonprofits, membership organizations, professional associations, and educational institutions, is looking for someone to wrangle client specifications, and manage workflow, site configurations, and customizations.
The Technical Project Manager has excellent communication and organizational skills and is a strong technical problem-solver.
The Technical Project Manager coordinates multiple projects simultaneously and acts as the liaison between clients and the Skvare technical team to create and implement project plans, track project progress, and analyze project performance throughout the life cycle of the project.

- Experience with Content Management Systems (preference given for Drupal experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Client Communication
- Lead regular communication with clients; serve as Skvare’s primary contact with assigned clients
- Look for opportunities to improve clients’ technology environmenst; partner with account manager to communicate opportunities to clients
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of user documentation
- Work with clients to set clear expectations on project delivery; manage day-to-day progress and communications to update the client on delivery schedules, required information or documentation, and necessary internal or external resources to deliver the project
- Regularly review and manage the budget, manage communications with clients about project estimates and project delivery to build the relationship and avoid surprises
- Enforce Skvare’s communication expectations with clients on how to get support and report technical needs or issues
Technical Support & Project Delivery
- Manage day-to-day project workflow and assignments; ensure effective task delegation
- Work with developers to define, prioritize and track project scope
- Monitor overall project performance and project quality
- Hold developers accountable for task assignments and priorities
- Conduct a thorough and detailed functional review of development work; document notes from review for internal purposes and client communications
- Anticipate and address project roadblocks that may arise throughout project life cycle
- Act as a catalyst to resolve project issues and escalate when necessary
- Support developers in creating and maintaining technical documentation by recognizing it as a priority and critical part of technical development and delivery
Business Analysis & Scoping
- Partner with Chief Strategy Officer and architect to develop project milestones and timelines
- Coordinate with account manager to gather project estimates and approvals
- Communicate with CEO regarding team capacity and workload concerns for client and project delivery
Skvare Marketing
- Support, as requested, marketing efforts to share Skvare’s experience, expertise, and capabilities. Functions may include developing case studies of client projects, blog articles, presentations at conferences, attendance to regionally relevant meetups, skvare.com analytic review, and social media promotion

Salary
Base salary starts at $60,000 annually and is negotiable based on location and experience.
Location
This is a fully remote position. Preference will be given to candidates living in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
